This event is focused on the development of girls between the ages of 11-15. Our goal is to help nurture these young women to become the strong, independent and confident queens they were born to be.
By participating in this event, they will receive the emotional intelligence, self-awareness, social-awareness and tools needed to navigate through any obstacles at home, school and within themselves
MEET OUR MENTOR, DR. ANISSA MARTIN
Dr. Anissa Martin is an accomplished corporate finance professional and academic professor with
twenty years of experience in for-profit and non-profit organizations. She aims to inspire and empower those she encounters through their own intellect and unique firsthand experiences using real-world illustrations to
bring fresh perspectives on the value that each person has within. Her quest in life is to motivate others beyond their mark; helping them to flourish to their maximum potential and excel regardless of the state of the marketplace or their communities.

Hey there,
I’m Maria Manning and I’m here to help our young women not only set goals but to achieve them as well. As a Serial entrepreneur (4 companies) I’d love to share some of my experiences of what it takes to get through the ups-and downs, and what keeps me going. No matter how young or old you are, with the help of God all of your dreams can be your reality. I’m super excited to have this moment to invest in other Millionaires in the making.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who specializes in providing therapy for people dealing with Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma. I serve couples, mothers, and teens 15 and up in the Black Community to help them achieve their personal goals of mental and emotional wellness. I look forward to working with the teens of the F.A.B. Girls Youth Retreat to provide them with support, skills, and knowledge in a safe environment.
We have reached out to our network of influential women in the community to help lead your child in the right direction. They are examples of determination, will-power and success. These women will provide the guidance the girls need to build them up into our leaders of tomorrow.
